Ray Lowry RIP

("Bad news, I'm afraid - there ain't no cure for the Summertime Blues")

Very sad to hear of the death of Ray Lowry whose cartoons were a highlight of the NME in the late seventies. I couldn't find my flavourite of his which shows two figures in sunglasses walking down a street with the caption "My manager thought I was getting out of touch with the street, so he bought me this one".
